Black History at Galaxy Elementary

On Friday February 17th the brothers visited Galaxy elementary school to educate students about black history. Galaxy is an elementary school located in east Boynton with a significant number of black students. The brothers, Franklin, Asbury, Blake, Neely, McKoy, Howard, Sainvil, Collins, Daniels, and Battle ventured into classrooms all over the school to inform students of the historical works of instrumental to the black community. An initiative spearheaded by brother H Tillman, the brothers enlightened students from kindergarten to 5th grade about such figures as Shirley Chisholm, Oprah Winfrey and Mamie Till Mobley. The initiative was to empower our children with knowledge of their strong black female figures of the past and present in hopes of creating more for the future.
