Honoring Our Heroes: Veterans Day Celebration 2024
On Monday, November 15th, the Delray Beach, Belle Glade/Pahokee, and West Palm Beach chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. came together to host an unforgettable Veterans Day Celebration at the West Palm Beach Kennel Club. This incredible event was a heartwarming tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country, bringing together community leaders, fraternity brothers, and supporters for a day filled with honor, fellowship, and fun.
We were thrilled to welcome distinguished guests who joined us in celebrating this special occasion, including Steven Wilson, Mayor of Belle Glade; Lt. Gen. Darrell Williams, President of Hampton University; Ronnie Felder, Mayor of Riviera Beach; and Angela Burns, Councilwoman from Delray Beach. Their presence added an extra layer of inspiration and pride to the event.
The day was filled with powerful speeches, warm camaraderie, and moments of gratitude that reminded us all of the sacrifices our veterans have made. From the moving tributes to the joyful connections shared over food and laughter, this celebration was a testament to the strength and unity of our community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a success. Your support reflects the core values of Kappa Alpha Psi: achievement, service, and brotherhood.
We look forward to continuing our work in service to the community and honoring those who have served. Stay tuned for more events and initiatives from Kappa Alpha Psi!
